Max and Ainsley have been taking swim lessons on Saturday mornings. They like to get to the pool early to be sure to get some stretching in before they start swimming! Max likes the idea of swimming lessons and the pre-swimming stretches a bit more than actually getting in the water but he is getting more adventurous every week. A big month for Max. June was a big month for 3 year old Max! He had his first dentist appointment and took it like a champ! He really came out of his shell with animals recently and has been much less timid around dogs (at least the calm ones). He loves holding the chickens at the farm! Max also got bunk beds! It’s hard to believe that our smiley little baby girl is TWO! And then there are days that it is hard to believe that she is ONLY two! In fact, if you ask Ainsley, she will tell you that she is four (because Max is three so surely she must be more than him so that makes her four)! How did that happen? He still loves to be outside “working” as much as possible. For months now, even when the lawn was still buried under two feet of snow, Max has been telling us that he would like a lawnmower and a birthday cake for his birthday. She definitely keeps us on our toes! At the playground there is nothing she won’t climb. These days nap time typically ends with her destroying her room and climbing up onto her changing table to read books. She’s very helpful with chores around the house and in the yard.
