Monday, December 28, 2009. Kenzie is scooting now! I have been working all night on editing videos that we have taken since Kenzie was born- -and while I was working on it I looked up and saw Kenzie scoot one last time to make it to the power cord to the computer! I of course got out the video camera and all she would do is laugh and smile! I think I finally got some scooting on video (about try #5! Christmas in San Angelo. And decorated Christmas cookies! Thursday, June 24, 2010. It's all in the way you look at it. So I have decided that I can't to short posts, yes, I am a bit wordy, but I think this one is worth spending the time to read). So let me tell you of my last "adventure" (Sorry if I overuse this word- -it seems to be the theme for the last few days). Did I mention it should be a 3 1/2 hr drive? Turn off the car of course! Life with Kenzie: Death
http://lifewithkenziegrace.blogspot.com/2011/02/death.html
Saturday, February 19, 2011. I know it's been awhile- -and this is such a down subject, but. Have you ever known a child that has passed? I mean how do you explain to a second grader, or even the younger siblings that I know your sister was here yesterday, but she isn't here any longer. And how does one keep the faith when something so tragic happens? Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Life in the Holik House*. Life in OUR SHOES. View my complete profile.

Life with Kenzie: November 2009
http://lifewithkenziegrace.blogspot.com/2009_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 1, 2009. So this has been an interesting time of learning new "responsibilities" as a mommy! For the most part Kenzie is a pretty easy sick baby. All Ive had to do is feed her (whenever she will let me), rock her, take temp, give tylenol, and watch her sleep. Well today started a new phase of the Swine Flu. Diarrhea! Unfortunatley, after being peed and pooped on and my third set of clothes for the day, I decided it was time for her to wear a diaper again! Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

Life with Kenzie: October 2009
http://lifewithkenziegrace.blogspot.com/2009_10_01_archive.html
Thursday, October 29, 2009. Well it's official- -Kenzie is now sick for the first time. My mom called me on Tuesday and said "So I'm sick, you might want to keep an eye on Kenzie to make sure she doesn't get sick." Not only is my mom now sick, but one of my nieces that spent the night with Kenzie Friday night is sick! I kept thinkin, yeah right she won't get sick. Well I was wrong! All day yesterday Kenzie was just whinny! I thought it was because she was teething- -she's been chewing on EVERYTHING!

It takes a City. With 4 million people in Houston.we can make a difference! Monday, October 17, 2011. Maybe it's a sign of me aging (I know I know. not old.yet), but the past two years, Fall has wedged it's way into my heart. I think it shows that my priorities have changed over the years. Fall is when the holidays start and family events begin. I love the food, the decorations, and the idea that family, friends, and love really matter. Almost two years later, it feels like a dream. India was the mos...

It takes a City...: I'm a klutz!!
http://debiostrom.blogspot.com/2011/09/im-klutz.html
It takes a City. With 4 million people in Houston.we can make a difference! Monday, September 19, 2011. That was the sound of my face, nose and tooth hitting the pavement after 3.5 miles of an 11-mile run. It was a great run! I was feeling great, so excited, then I felt my foot hit something, my body lift off the ground, and in a split second, without a chance to catch myself, my face, then my body slammed against the concrete. It was not my finest moment! I ran home bleeding and bruised. Compassion is n...
