Ralia Café opened on 11th July 2005 on the site of a redundant Tourist Information Centre which had lain empty for eighteen months. Both the café The Hairy Coo Shop next-door are owned and operated by Robin and Sheila Lambie who live in Kingussie.

We make our sandwiches here, every morning, with freshly baked bread and our coffee beans are roasted every week. Our bread is a ‘Malted Harvester’ from Harry Gow of Inverness. In Forres; our shortbread is baked by Auld Alliance in Kingussie; our Caramel Shortcake from Auld’s in Dundee; our Ice Cream is from Stewart Tower Dairy in Perthshire and our Biscotti ‘Grantoccini’ is baked in Newtonmore. Nextdoor is The Hairy Coo Shop.
