Keith has gone fastest on the opening stage of the day, taking a further 7.5 seconds from Gwyndaf. However that is not all of the tale. Keith reported a steady clean run, while Gwyndaf was still wondering if there was a problem with his tracking from yesterday, saying he wasn't confident enough in it to commit to going flat out. Jonny Greer was glad to get out of the stage because it was the stage he had crashed on in 2009.

It's all drama on stage 6, the long 17-miler. As well as Alastair Fisher rolling, Gwyndaf Evans has dropped two minutes.
