A Place to Vent. After the stocks collapsed and the dust cleared, banks were fine and common people where out on the street. Sure, most of the people caught up in the toxic mortgages should never have been given one, but they somehow were. The person who gave them the loan, unless they were a total moron, knew that the mortgage they wrote up would never be repaid. Yet, still they approved the loan!
