The Ramblings of a Would-Be Writer: Shopping with Toddlers is FUN!
http://ramblingrrw.blogspot.com/2015/06/shopping-with-toddlers-is-fun.html
The Ramblings of a Would-Be Writer. By R R. Wolfgang. Monday, June 1, 2015. Shopping with Toddlers is FUN! When I picked my one and three-year old up from preschool this past Friday, I was so excited. We were going to start the weekend off with a great shopping trip! My daughter could get herself new boots, my son needed new shoes, and I needed a purse and epipen holder for my newly diagnosed mango allergy. I somehow thought that this was going to be FUN! That went something like this:. I want his binky!
The Ramblings of a Would-Be Writer: July 2013
http://ramblingrrw.blogspot.com/2013_07_01_archive.html
The Ramblings of a Would-Be Writer. By R R. Wolfgang. Sunday, July 28, 2013. Ten Years and some change. So my husband and I just celebrated our tenth anniversary. It was the most fun we've had in quite some time. We ate, we drank, we walked by the beach and marveled at how far we've come. Well, that love has become even more intense. He can still make me laugh, even as he drives me insane. Still Guilty of PDAs after 10 Years. On a completely different note, my own life seems to have gotten a bit off track.
The Ramblings of a Would-Be Writer: Fear
http://ramblingrrw.blogspot.com/2014/01/fear.html
The Ramblings of a Would-Be Writer. By R R. Wolfgang. Monday, January 20, 2014. I have had this poem sitting on the back-burner for a while, as I contemplated how fear stifles creativity and positivity. Through a collaboration with a friend and artist, Pieter Karlik, I now have a couple of visual representations. I want this poem to speak for itself, so I won't give it a long introduction, although a part of me would like very much to do just that. Without further ado, here it is, first in chalk:.
The Ramblings of a Would-Be Writer: Silence
http://ramblingrrw.blogspot.com/2013/09/silence.html
The Ramblings of a Would-Be Writer. By R R. Wolfgang. Saturday, September 28, 2013. Finding my voice has been an odd kind of journey. Taking criticism is hard, but it's an absolute must for any writer or artist, because it helps you grow and learn what kind of criticism is constructive and will help you grow, and what you can leave at the door for what it is. I am not a perfect writer. I am not a great poet. But do I like writing? Hell, yes. Am I going to continue writing? Hell, yes, again! To learn and ...

The Ramblings of a Would-Be Writer. By R R. Wolfgang. Wednesday, April 29, 2015. Drowning in the Dark - Finding Your Way to Forgiveness. It has been a long time since I last wrote, but as my son approaches his very first birthday, I'm feeling a little uptick in energy that means my fingers are itching for something new, and Facebook is just not cutting it. I was simultaneously racked with guilt and angry at. I had known Skye in high school and from ballroom dancing - he was a rare soul who just radiated ...

I’ve always loved Anthony Bourdain but I’m adding this to a few other things I’ve started to see in him as less-than-role-model-worthy. Did you see the episode of Parts Unknown where he went to De...He was so dismissiv...

Just another WordPress.com site. Why Roe v. Wade should matter to all women. Of course, the Christian Right and members of the GOP disagreed and immediately stepped up their efforts to abridge the protection. Why should women have the right to choose what happens with their own bodies? Why should they have the right to sanitary medical procedures? Why should they be allowed to feel anything more than criminal and ashamed? According to Advocates for Youth, before 1973,. I believe this doctor knew what was...

A Psychologist’s Take on Thanksgiving. Well, sh*t… Would be an appropriate response if you’re as *ahem* realistic as I. Thanks, Miss Debby Downer. But before I could throw myself too long of a pity party, Thanksgiving happened. This coincidental merging of my neural epiphany and Thanksgiving is a fortuitous thing.
