Every Family Has a Story. March 16, 2017. Every family has a story . . . welcome to ours! By my third hospitalization in 18 months they began to look at it a little differently. Perhaps I had a bigger problem that would require long term medication. The future was uncertain. I might find a husband but having children appeared to be far out of reach. I was lonely and wanted a spouse to laugh with and cry with. It ended up that Jim wanted a family as much as me. So as I remembered Jenny’s words &...We now ...

Med side-effects, sleepiness – mythoughts62
https://mythoughts62.wordpress.com/2016/11/17/med-side-effects-sleepiness
Mental Health and other thoughts. Med side-effects, sleepiness. November 17, 2016. I’ve had many med side-effects over the years. The second one I was on, Zyprexa, introduced me to two that have plagued me since. Daytime sleepiness and weight gain. I’ll leave the weight gain for another post. It’s caused a lot of trouble, but so has the sleepiness. If it does are the side-effects mild enough to make it worthwhile? As usual, this is mirrored at buchanan1.net. 54 years old, mental health advocate, retired ...

Mental Health and other thoughts. Even More Mental Health Stigma (and discrimination). May 23, 2016. My first memory of mental health stigma is related to one of my first memories period. I remember sitting on my bed at night, talking to my mother. I was maybe 3 or 4 years old. I remember telling her that things weren’t as good as they used to be. I told her that… Continue reading Even More Mental Health Stigma (and discrimination). More Mental Health Stigma (and discrimination). May 20, 2016. May 9, 2016.

Mental Health and other thoughts. Update -What’s Going On. July 24, 2016. July 24, 2016. I haven’t been updating this blog as often as I’d like. I just haven’t had anything “profound” to say in the last few days. As if anything I write is profound. But then I though that maybe I could write a post that includes soma of the less private parts of my journal. Just this… Continue reading Update -What’s Going On. Follow Blog via Email. Mental Health and other thoughts. Early memories (When Medicine Got it Wrong). December 8, 2016. It’s weird how we don’t remember much, or anything about our very early childhood. This is known as Childhood Amnesia. My very first memory is walking in my father’s garden and looking down the stairwell that led down to the basement door. My second earliest memory is planting an apple tree in our front yard with my mother. This was about 1965, I would have been about 3 years old. In 1979 when I was 17 years ...

Mental Health and other thoughts. October 21, 2016. I’ve had problems with anxiety for my entire life. When I was diagnosed with bipolar, I was also diagnosed with Generalized Anxiety Disorder (GAD). Later I was diagnosed with Obsessive Compulsive Disorder (OCD). I also have panic attacks, but I don’t quite meet the criteria for Panic Disorder. I don’t meet those requirements since the… Continue reading Tranquilizers and me. Follow Blog via Email. Take Care Of Your Mental Wellbeing In A Different Way.

Treading the (un)beaten track
Treading the (un)beaten track. Welcome, and thank you for stopping by. I am here each time I come across something that makes me stop, think, and proceed. So, you may not see any order in my madness. But, there might be a few who spot the order in my rather chaotic blog. Feel free to comment. Saturday, August 1, 2015. While I can’t do anything much to change most of the questions, I can do something about the last one. Yes, I can blog again. I can write again. Or should I? Or, is it just good old laziness?

Adam Creighton, Voice and Film Actor (Ramblings). People, by nature, have some interesting things to say. Here are some of my things. Some about acting. All about living . Tuesday, December 02, 2014. Today could be looked at as a bit of a rough day. Multiple kicks to the teeth. Usually getting some lip, too. Let's face it: Everything is gravy. All Of. The. Everythings. Ramblings about God
This blogs is merely my written attempt to better understand all the questions I have in my mind concerning God and Jesus. I don't see Christainity as a set of rules with which to beat people over the head. I see it as a connection with God that all people are invited to share through love. Strange. Quantum Entanglement and The Mystery of Prayer. There are papers written from a scientific perspective stating this very thing. What does this have to do with my thoughts on God? What healing could occur?
