They use either child labor, slave labor, or something similar. I’ve known about forced labor for a while. Passively known about it I guess. I’ve seen the article titles that claim they will expose bad companies. I’ve chosen not to read them, until today. Because once you know, you’re responsible. No Like actual oppression.

Monday, June 27, 2011. Life isn’t fair. If you don’t like honesty, you should stop reading this now). As you may or may not know, I have Epidermolysis Bullosa. EB is a rare condition (1in 50,000 have it). I’m one of them. Basically, the layers of my skin peel apart easier than other people’s—so I get blisters easier. This past week I was at the Nehemiah Project. The Nehemiah Project is a local mission trip where we all stayed at a high school in the area and fixed up people’s houses. Life isn’t fair.

Until that one day when we are supposed to be extra thankful, and then we just shove our faces and watch football, and if we’re super thankful, we go shopping.
