A few days before the first hatch, a very impatient Brady had been escorting Gizmo to the farm store to pick up some guinea pig hay, and could not resist bringing her home. Tuesday, April 21, 2015. We had the opportunity to join up with a homeschool group and visit the Perot Museum. In Dallas yesterday. It was a lot of fun! If you live in the Dallas area, or are visiting, I would put it on my list of recommendations. It is a nature and science museum that lives in a really neat building. Bill Nye has visited it, so it has to be cool, right? Even the landscaping is quite awesome. The kids had a lot of fun playing on the giant frogs while we waited for the museum to open.

Saturday, September 20, 2014. SLC Comic Con 2014. Saturday morning, we all got dressed and ready to go. My wonderful hubby even ran to Walgreens to pick up some cosmetics for me since I left mine home and I knew pictures would be taken. I am pretty sure that was a little awkward for him. Princess dressed as Elsa, Squirt as Spiderman, and Spike as.Spike. As for the oldest child, she dressed as Terezi Pyrope from Homestuck. Hiccup and Astrid from How to Train Your Dragon 2. Friday, March 16, 2012. Here are some picture of the casting process for this sculpture. First we removed the plaster outer mold. Then carefully separated the silicone mold, making sure that is didn't rip. This picture shows the two mold pieces resting on the plaster pieces. I removed any clay that was stuck in the deeper creases of her hair. So after a few layers of resin we filled the rest of the mold with expandable foam, and boy did it expand!
