Rambling Travels of Ang

Rambling Travels of Ang. I still like to travel, but just don't get out as much. My normal life is constantly changing, and is suddenly getting more exciting. Monday, October 11, 2010. Though it is not a complete list, here are a few of the things I am especially thankful for. 1) My husband - the Lord blessed me with a life partner that couldn't be more perfectly suited to me. 2) My son - the newest and brightest light in my life. As far as babies go, I think he's perfect. The near ones who provide a lit...

Rambling Travels of Ang: October 2009

Rambling Travels of Ang. I still like to travel, but just don't get out as much. My normal life is constantly changing, and is suddenly getting more exciting. Friday, October 23, 2009. I'm learning patience this week. Did you know that only 5% of babies are born on their due date? More than 75% are born after. You would think, after ALL these years of women having babies, they would be able to come up with a more accurate method of predicting when birth will occur. Hello! Patience girl, patience. By the ...

I've never been one to remember my dreams. Falling dreams are the most common for me, and even then, they rarely happen. Thursday, November 5, 2009. Sven the Stubborn Swede. Rambling Travels of Ang. I still like to travel, but just don't get out as much. My normal life is constantly changing, and is suddenly getting more exciting. Sunday, July 25, 2010. Gauge passed his swimming lessons. Good thing as I would have no idea how to tell him he didn't and would have to take the same level next year ;). Trying to catch a wave like Auntie Shannon S. Well done, little Sea Turtle. July 26, 2010 at 1:52 AM. July 26, 2010 at 9:30 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).

Rambling Travels of Ang. I still like to travel, but just don't get out as much. My normal life is constantly changing, and is suddenly getting more exciting. Wednesday, March 24, 2010. Stop, You're Making Me Bust My Stitches. Sunday night we were at volleyball when a friend who had recently had jaw reconstruction surgery shuffled in carrying a teddy bear and "Get Well Soon" balloon. He had come to visit. With Gauge. Finally our friend says between laughs, "Stop, you're making me bust my stitches.".

Rambling Travels of Ang. I still like to travel, but just don't get out as much. My normal life is constantly changing, and is suddenly getting more exciting. Saturday, September 11, 2010. I guess "helping" my pumpkins along really did work. I was cleaning up my garden this afternoon, harvesting, pruning and pulling plants up and found 9 large pumpkins and 11 small pumpkins. Not sure what I'm going to do with so many after I've taken one year pictures, but at least I have a bunch to work with!

The Amazing Meander: The Joys of Northern Thailand

http://thedanadians.blogspot.com/2007/07/mountain-biking-chiang-mai.html

To wander aimlessly or casually without urgent destination. The Joys of Northern Thailand. Our first stop back in Thailand was the small town of Pai in the northern part of the country. Pai is a backpacker haven. Surrounded by a beautiful natural setting, it's totally laid back and offers lots of cheap accommodations and tasty restaurants. It was just what we needed after our recent trek through the muck and leeches in Laos. On the way to something called the Panya Project. The Panya Project was created ...

Everyday Matheson...: The Mitzvah Technique

http://iwillgointhiswayandfindmyownwayout.blogspot.com/2010/02/mitzvah-technique.html

Thursday, February 18, 2010. Http:/ www.mitzvahtechnique.com/. Today, I went to a professional development session on The Mitzvah Technique. It was really quite interesting. I took bits and pieces from the session and put them in my memory bank for future use. I learnt that,. What's going on in the foot, is going on in the back. Once children (under 3) start sitting, that is when the body starts to collapse. When children are wobbly (and 3 and under), they are at their most natural form. Lisa - The TRIALS.

shannon journies: It almost makes me want to try it

http://shannonjournies.blogspot.com/2010/01/i-just-cant-stop-watching-this-video.html

Saturday, January 30, 2010. It almost makes me want to try it. I just can't stop watching this video. I saw it at the Banff Mountain Film Festival (which is totally awesome! If you are east of Saskatoon, you should check when it comes to your city and go! Although each venue picks the movies they show so this one might not be there). It was my favourite of the 10 movies they showed. I've never been a mountain biking fan but seriously, this is like art mixed with insane extremeness. Links so i can be quick.

shannon journies: November 2008

http://shannonjournies.blogspot.com/2008_11_01_archive.html

Saturday, November 29, 2008. Having a great time! Between camping at Hana, celebrating birthdays with food and song, spending Thanksgiving with new friends, and watching the stars while sitting next to the ocean, I have no complaints. I do, however, have no time to sleep. And I've got to be up for another trip to Hana tomorrow so I must go to bed now. But I will leave you with a quick photo explination of my camping trip from two weeks ago. The guys foraged for coconuts (which we later ate). This should ...

Friday, October 31, 2008. I am working on a post that involves uploading video (and it takes FOREVER) so please check back soon! But right now, I have to go to go to a pool party and then to a Halloween party. Two parties in one night. This is so not what I'm used to. Friday, October 24, 2008. What is wrong with this picture? So, it's been a week and a day and it's awesome. I have no complaints (other than that my camera broke and until I can replace it I am missing such amazing pictures! Whew, I've made...

The Amazing Meander: February 2007

http://thedanadians.blogspot.com/2007_02_01_archive.html

To wander aimlessly or casually without urgent destination. Sun, sand, and sea! I think Lee needed to get that out of her system. Public transport in Indonesia is NOT easy. It's not that the trains/buses/ferries are bad (although they are hardly great), or even expensive (it's probably about a C$1.50/hour average), it's just that it takes sooo long to get anywhere. We went on three great dives, and saw sharks, turtles (eight in one dive! For more photos, see our Indonesia photo album. A Bit About Us.

A journey without a definite route, taken merely for pleasure. Thursday, November 6, 2014. Tuesday, November 4, 2014. Nashville Honky Tonks on Broadway. Andanother business trip. It was a rainy few days in Nashville during our visit and we spent most of our down time on Broadway, visiting the bars and listening to music. I had a GREAT time, and will definitely go back. Maybe next time the weather will be nice enough for some hiking, because it is beautiful down there! Thursday, October 30, 2014. I took a...

Re-evaluating the world in a way no one wants to hear. January 22, 2015. The real reason for luxury items isn’t quality. So at some point I went through a thought experiment and wondered if luxury products would still exist in such abundance if everyone were required to wear a nametag with their net worth all the time. The whole idea of luxury items to telegraph status or desirability might be rendered moot. Who cares if that guy making 60k a year is driving the BMW? January 1, 2015. According to Malcom ...

I Need David Wright Back in My Life. August 10, 2015. So in this (so far) successful season for the New York Mets, their star captain David Wright has only played in eight games. He was diagnosed with spinal stenosis back in May, and since then has been shut down and slowly rehabbing to make it back on the field. I will also shamelessly note he has a very fine behind. He is seriously just a beautiful man, and his smile needs to be in a museum. We got your back, David. August 5, 2015. August 5, 2015.
