Russ and Marci Simons Random Family Happenings. Thursday, November 26, 2009. While in AZ for Thanksgiving we decided to run the annual Turkey Trot with Stephanie my best friend from high school. Her very first 10K and she did it while she was a few weeks pregnant. Way to go Steph. Next goal a Half Marathon right? Post baby of course! Russ ran the race too and finished with a great time of 43:50. I finished at 49:58 - but I did beat the turkey! This race was much bigger than I expected a local race to be.

Sunday, February 19, 2012. Wow, this month has been CRAZY busy with work and school. But I have been able to fit in a couple fun things. First of all, I turned 23! I never thought 23 was old, until now! I feel way old, and 23 sounds so much older than 22. My little sister wrote me this message on the mirror for me to find in the morning. She works at Little Ceasars, so she brought me home pizza and Italian cheese bread as my gift. Haha and she wrote me a nice little note on the box! It was super fun!
