Monday, March 18, 2013. One of the great things about this warranty checkout trip is that we are seeing Max's family. We got to see great-nieces and nephews that we hadn't yet met. Time does fly. I mentioned that the whole gang went out to dinner on Saturday. You can see just how large the crowd was! On Sunday, Dave and Patsy came into town for a visit. Of course, any visit isn't complete without food! We loaded up this morning and are now headed home. A short, but very enjoyable trip! Posted by Dr J.

Monday, August 11, 2014. Some observations along the drive today. The north central Nebraska prairie is beautiful! It is reminiscent of our Flint Hills in Kansas. except their hills are made of sand instead of rock. Every low spot between the hills is either a pond or a marshland area. One would think with all this sandy soil that you wouldn't see a marshland! In fact, we just passed "Marsh Lakes Scenic Overlook"! That made us really check the area where we were walking. Saturday, July 20, 2013. Welcome back to Kansas, where it is 96 degrees, little wind, and 46% humidity. Ugh. Where are those cooling pacific breezes when you need them? Posted by Dr J. Cautious, but hopeful…. I think everything is going to be okay…. Squeeze (I’ll call him that since its weirdly appropriate :). And I have not had “the big talk” as yet.
