Pursuing the Wind: The Least of These
http://pursuingthewind.blogspot.com/2014/01/the-least-of-these.html
Striving to find what really matters in life is like pursuing the wind. Some days you can feel it almost creep inside of you; other days, it feels like it is gone, and you will never again feel it enliven your mind or heart. It's a journey. Yet, as with all good journeys, I believe there will be an end. The Least of These. The Least of These. It's strange what triggers memories sometimes. Frequently, the last year or two I have thought about a handful of adults who reached out to me when I was a child.

Striving to find what really matters in life is like pursuing the wind. Some days you can feel it almost creep inside of you; other days, it feels like it is gone, and you will never again feel it enliven your mind or heart. It's a journey. Yet, as with all good journeys, I believe there will be an end. Only a Shadow of Good Things. Thought much about shadows? In one of C.S. Lewis' books (I believe, The Weight of Glory. A shadow gives a glimpse of something real beyond what we see before us. A shadow...

Pursuing the Wind: June 2012

Striving to find what really matters in life is like pursuing the wind. Some days you can feel it almost creep inside of you; other days, it feels like it is gone, and you will never again feel it enliven your mind or heart. It's a journey. Yet, as with all good journeys, I believe there will be an end. I've been pondering a great deal about "respect." Perhaps you can discuss this with me, as I'd really rather this be a dialogue. The dictionary defines respect as: " esteem. You have respect of some sort ...

Pursuing the Wind: In the Beginning
http://pursuingthewind.blogspot.com/2013/12/in-beginning.html
Striving to find what really matters in life is like pursuing the wind. Some days you can feel it almost creep inside of you; other days, it feels like it is gone, and you will never again feel it enliven your mind or heart. It's a journey. Yet, as with all good journeys, I believe there will be an end. Many months have passed since I last wrote. As I sit to write this Christmas Eve day, a strange angle to the Christmas story comes to mind. He was in the beginning with God. As we've studied the literary ...

Yet, as with all good journeys, I believe there will be an end. FOR THE LOVE OF GOD. But beyond all his successes, Elijah was—as Jesus' brother James wrote. But this is all history and not what I've been pondering. The significance of Elijah's story in today's dro...

The Lord's Lass: September 2014
http://lordslass.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
Tuesday, September 9, 2014. For your general information, I have actually been away from home the past 3 Mondays! Thanks to William's game of tag, I had scheduled posts for the first two, but am in the midst of all sort of busyness and therefore must beg your indulgence in excusing another. Anyway, to tide you over until my next spurt of randomness, I hereby bestow upon you both giggles and quips. Courtesy of Pinterest, of course. :p. I feel for her. I do. Striving to find what really matters in life is like pursuing the wind. Some days you can feel it almost creep inside of you; other days, it feels like it is gone, and you will never again feel it enliven your mind or heart. It's a journey. Yet, as with all good journeys, I believe there will be an end. A Matter of Life and Death. Do you have patterns in your thoughts that just seem to build on one another? Thoughts in which every lesson you learn seems to connect back to that theme or those themes?
