Friday, July 18, 2014. Our little buggy turned 5 back in July! I don't think there has ever been a 4 year old boy who was more excited to turn 5 than Phoenix! Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Aside from waking up to an alarm clock (curse you 9 am church! Mother's Day was pleasant and enjoyable. Travis let me pick out a new lens that I have been wanting for a few years, and I tested it out while dinner was cooking. Travis made me Gado-Gado (an Indonesian dish from my Dad's mission). Monday, March 9, 2015. Phoenix was SO excited to be back on the field playing soccer. He always tries to be the fastest kid on his team (and he usually is), and he has made several goals in practice. He was way more distracted on game day, I blame it on the sideline fun. His teammates that weren't on the field playing were hiding under a blanket.it was COLD! Friday, May 23, 2014. Audrey's school does a Memorial Day event every year, and it is a great way to remember and honor those who served, and those we lost. Tuesday, May 19, 2015. I signed Audrey up for a homeschool drama group in February. The play for this session was Willy Wonka (one of my favorite childhood movies). Audrey's dream role was an Oompa Loompa. She got the part she wanted, plus she had a line as a reporter, and she was a Candy Kid. She loved it! Tuesday, May 12, 2015. The Andrew Family Does DC. We met up with almost all of Travis's family a few weekends ago in DC. We went to a few Smithsonians on our first day there. The History Museum had a disappointing small selection of mummies, but the kids were happy to at least see a few. On our second day we did a bus tour and saw a check-list of all the most popular tourist attractions. It is tough on our kids not living close to any of our family members! Personal blog for friends and family. Tuesday, October 20, 2009. Grandma has it good! Teaching Fisher to brush his teeth was some of the most fun I had in Alaska, and AK is a very fun place. I highly recommend the salmon fishing in Valdez. I am very excited to meet my newest grandson. Having two little men is more then I could've hoped for.
