Set in the lush Girwa valley, surrounded by the Aravallis hills interspersed with translucent lakes lies Udaipur (City of Sunrise). The Rangniwas Palace was built during the reign of Maharana Sajjan Singh (1874-84) as a platform to watch the ceremony of Sithala Asthami and later dancing performances. In the early 20th centuary Maharana Fateh Singh (the light of the Hindus), built the palace up and added the upper floors.

Al pisar la calle justo delante del hotel ya nos esperaban tanto Devi como Narayan asi que fuimos a visitar los templos jainistas del Kamasutra situados en las afueras. Mas tarde paseamos por el pueblo y Narayan nos invito a tomar un te en su casa, conocimos a su familia y tambien vimos la tienda de plata de su hermano. Rístico, esta vez si se trataba de uno de esta categoría ya que llevaba las maletas en la vaca del vehículo. Llegamos a la capital a las 15:30h y justo empazaba a llover. Aquella noche cenamos con Rodrigo pues lo vimos casualmente. Pagamos 700 rupias (10€ por los tres pasajes) por ir en el autobús de línea durante 12 horas cuando el precio real por pasaje és de sólo 150 rupias! Y además los lugareños sólo pagaban 5o rupias! 20:30pm Llegamos a la frontera con Nepal (Sonouli), fueron 12 horas interminables! Y hasta con goteras! Comprobar la manera de cargar. Fuerte con una muralla muy extensa en la cual hemos encontrado muchos visitantes locales, ya que era dia festivo. A parte del templo, tenia una torre, a la que hemos subido rodeadas de lugarenos y al llegar arriba la encerrona ha sido maxima. La gente queria que te hicieras fotos con ellos. Viaje a la india. Saturday, August 8, 2009. Por la manana cogimos un rickshaw y fuimos a visitar el Templo Vishumath o Templo Dorado y también un pueblo llamado Satna. Decidimos levantarnos pronto a las 5:30 de la mañana para dar un paseo en barca por el Ganges, desde donde intentamos otra vez ver la salida del sol. aunque no lo conseguimos las vistas eran impresionantes! La gente se despierta de madrugada y van a bañarse al río para purificarse y a hacer ofrendas a los dioses. Qué dirías que es esto?
