Not a Poem: 30th August 2013. Digging since dawn, bent slant. Against the whistling wind, crushing. With sweet scent the water mint under my boots,. Face whipped by willow; unsteady,. Tales from an RSPB volunteer on Rathlin Island, NI. July 16, 2011. A final word. While on Rathlin I have been writing the blog via my phone, which has worked reasonably well, but it now turns out the photos I intended to post were not the ones which appeared on the website, so I have just been doing some editing to sort that out, and other hiccups. In a couple of weeks they will be gone again…). Pictured: a puffin on the platform ledge. Note the orange legs and general air of puffinity. July 14, 2011.

I wonder what Patsy has been saying about the activities of his old friends up at Stormont, Ben Gore and Croyer Hill . Friday, 5 March 2010. Sunday, 9 August 2009.
