Matt + Kait: February 2015
http://mattpluskait.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html
One Flesh for the Glory of God. Monday, February 23, 2015. Last Friday we were able to witness the adoption of 3 of our former foster children into a loving, forever home. It was an amazing moment to watch the parents commit themselves to love, nurture, and provide for K, P, and J. I write this post as an Ebenezer for us to look back on. I want us to remember that God is working, moving, accomplishing HIS plan and we GET to be involved! Supporting a family that is? BIGGER TRUTH: You are also opening up y...

Matt + Kait: July 2014
http://mattpluskait.blogspot.com/2014_07_01_archive.html
One Flesh for the Glory of God. Wednesday, July 23, 2014. At the beginning of this year Matt and I decided that it was time for us to get back involved in a small group. We had the option to find an already existing group or form a new group. There were some couples that we knew of that were newer to the area/church, so we thought that forming a new group would be a good opportunity to get others not in a small group plugged in. We started going through the ebook Small Group Life. Edited version which we...

Matt + Kait: Stand for Orphans
http://mattpluskait.blogspot.com/2015/07/standfororphans.html
One Flesh for the Glory of God. Thursday, July 23, 2015. Our adoption agency, Lifeline Children's Services, created Stand for Orphans as a way for children to understand that God has given them the opportunity and ability to affect change in the world. To show kids that they don't have to wait "until they're older" to be part of God's work in the world. It was amazing to see parents take the days leading up to the stand to teach their children about orphans and why God calls His people to care for them.

Matt + Kait: October 2014
http://mattpluskait.blogspot.com/2014_10_01_archive.html
One Flesh for the Glory of God. Friday, October 24, 2014. The Kaeb nieces and nephew from KC are in town staying with grandpa and grandma while their parents are enjoying their 10th anniversary in Chicago. It's a treat for Tristyn, Maelyn, and Rylen to be in town, so Amanda and I decided that it would be fun to spend some girly time with T and M. We headed to Seneca for lunch, some shopping, and some craziness! Can you tell the drama is in the front row? What beautiful blushing brides! I adore this girl!

Matt + Kait: March 2015
http://mattpluskait.blogspot.com/2015_03_01_archive.html
One Flesh for the Glory of God. Tuesday, March 31, 2015. A couple weekends ago we went to Quincy to help Mom Hoerr move her businesses into one location. We are thrilled for her that now she doesn't have to buzz back and forth between the two locations. We were glad to help and even enjoyed some relaxing time with mom and dad. Nana had been so busy with the construction on her store that it had been awhile since we had seen her. Judson warmed up to her fast though! He loves his Nana! Matt got the store c...

Matt + Kait: September 2014
http://mattpluskait.blogspot.com/2014_09_01_archive.html
One Flesh for the Glory of God. Tuesday, September 30, 2014. The Kaeb girls have started a little tradition of spending a weekend together once a year to some chosen destination. This year we chose Galena, IL and were not disappointed. It was the perfect little town for a bunch of girlies that like to relax, eat, shop, chat, act goofy, take naps, laugh, and go on adventures together. It was a blast of a weekend! Each of these gals are very special to me! Here are some snapshots into our weekend. Mom and ...

One Flesh for the Glory of God. Thursday, November 20, 2014. Last weekend we attended the chiefs game with Jason and Maggi, Derek and Sarah, and Felipe. It was a cold day so we bundled up pretty toasty. This was my (Kaits) 1st Chiefs game experience. Nice to say that they won. :). Myself, Maggi, and Sarah. Felipe (his 1st football game experience) and Matt. Jason, Derek, Felipe, and Matt. Would I go again? Yes, but next time would wear a few more layers on my toes. What Judsons Been Up To. Grandpa Kaeb w...

Matt + Kait: April 2015
http://mattpluskait.blogspot.com/2015_04_01_archive.html
One Flesh for the Glory of God. Friday, April 17, 2015. Judson Gets A Trim. Recently Judson got a mini haircut. We went over to grandma's house, because she is the best at cutting boy's hair. She didn't take too much off, but we still had to document Judson's first haircut. At first Judson looked at me and gave me a very questionable look as to why he had his shirt off and was wearing a towel. His nerves were then quickly soothed when he saw that he was going to get to watch the show Boz. I found Judson ...

Matt + Kait: June 2015
http://mattpluskait.blogspot.com/2015_06_01_archive.html
One Flesh for the Glory of God. Friday, June 26, 2015. Judson is into trains. He's a goof to watch as he plays trains. He likes to get real low and watch the wheels go and almost appears to try to see inside the windows. As he was into his world of pretend I was able to capture quite well his antic train playing. Monday, June 22, 2015. Quick Trip with Friends. Judson was very excited to have company in the backseat. These 3 traveled amazing with only minor complaining. His favorite thing was jumping to M...

One Flesh for the Glory of God. Wednesday, July 29, 2015. When the Waiting Continues. Throughout our wait God continues to impress on our hearts that this wait is meant to stretch us. It is meant to drive us onto our knees and surrender to God's impeccable timing. Acts 1:7 "He said to them, “It is not for you to know times or seasons that the Father has fixed by his own authority.". Absolutely, yet this child can too easily become an idol and something we desire more than Christ. This season of waiting i...
