RD400 and other 2 stroke motorcycles. RZ350 returns to Palolo Valley. I sold this ‘85 Yamaha RZ350 a couple of years ago to a guy who really wanted a 2-stroke bike. And they are very hard to find in Honolulu. Unfortunately, a few weeks ago the owner was in an accident when a bus turned left in front of him, coming from the other direction. The rider veered left then crashed. He doesn’t remember exactly what happened, he was pretty shook up and broke a collar bone. Ouch! And R1 brake discs and calipers.

RD400 and other 2 stroke motorcycles. RD350 photo taken in 1982. We lived in Hilo at the time. I bought this bike from a guy in Waiakea Uka for around $300 bucks. It hadn’t been running in years and needed work. I cleaned it up, put on DG pipes, Spec2 rearsets, TZ350 front fender, S&W shocks and a braided brake line. Observer theme by Zack Sultan.

Purchasing and owning a 34-year old classic Honda inline four motorcycle. Tuesday, December 8, 2009. S&W Shocks for a CB550. I had been trolling E-bay for sometime, looking for a good pair of shocks to replace the stockers. There are several nice sets, available and brand new. I'm not crazy about spending several hundred bucks on a set of shocks. They cleaned up pretty nicely! That matches that gold color that was a trademark of S&W shocks back in the 70's and 80's.
