R&D Council of NJ. To be a Governor’s STEM Scholar! Applicants must be enrolled full-time in a New Jersey school, in grades 10-PhD program. Students must be entering 10th grade in fall 2016 and not be graduated from their PhD programs until May 2017. Applicants must be able to demonstrate some leadership qualities either through participation in school programs or community activities. Leadership does not have to pertain to STEM, although this type of leadership would be helpful to a candidate.

R&D Council of NJ. Q: When is my application due? A: The application must be received by May 27, 2016. Q: When will I be notified if I am accepted? A: After May 27, the Admissions Committee will meet to determine who is accepted. The Committee will take four-to-six weeks to decide and you will be notified by early July. Q: How will I be notified if I am accepted or rejected? A: You will be notified by regular mail and/or email. Q: When are the conferences? Q: What is the time commitment of the program?
