CCBC Mission Trip - Dominican Republic: July 2010
http://ccbcmissionteam.blogspot.com/2010_07_01_archive.html
CCBC Mission Trip - Dominican Republic. Friday, July 30, 2010. I can do all things through Christ who strengthens me! Today was the last day of English camp, with it ending at noon. It seems that the time has flown quickly by, but yet it has been so full that it seems we have been working in Juan Tomas for a LONG time! It was well received and the point made. After the preaching, we had testimony time from the campers, and it was sweet. Many said that the services were their favorite part! Many of the gi...

http://ccbcmissionteam.blogspot.com/2012/07/we-are-having-amazing-week-message-last.html
CCBC Mission Trip - Dominican Republic. Wednesday, July 4, 2012. We are having an amazing week! We had a special history lesson in music class, and presentation of colors, in honor of American independence, and more importantly, the REASON that the US has been blessed due to the founding on God's principles. We are serving an all-American picnic meal tonight, with hamburgers, hot dogs, baked beans, slaw, watermelon and of course, Sweet Tea! That will be an adventure. Off to cook hamburgers. For the team,.

http://ccbcmissionteam.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html
CCBC Mission Trip - Dominican Republic. Sunday, July 24, 2011. Love the Lord thy God. The kids all have Bibles, and a shepherd here at Centro Biblica de Juan Tomas to help them. Please pray for the young people of Juan Tomas! We are humbled to be privileged to serve the Lord in this way. Every young person who came on this trip was a stellar example of God's love and Christ's character. Praise be to God! Friday, July 22, 2011. Thou shalt not steal. Character class was presented by Lisa and Daniel, on the...

CCBC Mission Trip - Dominican Republic: Generosity
http://ccbcmissionteam.blogspot.com/2012/07/generosity.html
CCBC Mission Trip - Dominican Republic. Tuesday, July 3, 2012. Our character lesson on Monday was "Attentiveness" or "Attencion". Needless to say, that is a challenge for Dominican kids, or any group of 11-15 year olds for that matter. They are improving, as we improve and fine tune our teaching methods and interactions with them. Today's lesson character lesson is "generosity", and they have a lot to practice on today! Last night was beans and rice and some sort of eggplant dish (not Southern fried!

CCBC Mission Trip - Dominican Republic: We have arrived!
http://ccbcmissionteam.blogspot.com/2012/06/we-have-arrived.html
CCBC Mission Trip - Dominican Republic. Saturday, June 30, 2012. Greatest of all, another Delta agent who admired our shirts praised the blessed name of Jesus out loud as the Savior who died on the cross for her sins. This was in front of the few hundred people in the security line! Another praise is that when we got here, it appeared that very few suitcases had been opened by TSA - and none of the camp supply boxes had been opened at all! In the blessed name of Christ, and in anticipation of great fruit,.

CCBC Mission Trip - Dominican Republic: English camp begins!
http://ccbcmissionteam.blogspot.com/2012/07/monday-july-2-weekend-preparations-went.html
CCBC Mission Trip - Dominican Republic. Monday, July 2, 2012. Monday, July 2:. The weekend preparations went by in a whirlwind, and we have started camp today. We spent Saturday reviewing all of our lesson plans, music and skits, then went on visitation to the village. It is always a humbling experience to do that, seeing how the majority of the world lives in abject poverty, and seeing the vast spiritual darkness as well. Debbie for the DR team. http://ccbcmissionteam.blogspot.com/2012/07/independence-day.html
CCBC Mission Trip - Dominican Republic. Thursday, July 5, 2012. July 4, 2012, will be an Independence Day that all of us on the mission team will never forget! While Americans were watching fireworks light up the sky, we had fireworks of our own here in Juan Tomas! Last night about 10 pm, after the evening service, we saw four young men come to know Jesus as Savior! They had the best Independence Day that anyone could ever have - freedom from sin through the blood of Christ! Debbie, for the DR team.

CCBC Mission Trip - Dominican Republic: In the Air!
http://ccbcmissionteam.blogspot.com/2012/06/in-air.html
CCBC Mission Trip - Dominican Republic. Friday, June 29, 2012. Thanks to 15 minutes of free wifi on the plane, we are blogging from somewhere over Florida. We think we made it out of the hotel and to the airport with all of our luggage (except for Levi’s pillow). Checking in that many people and bags proved a little challenging, but it went okay except for a slight problem with Matthew’s ticket (they don’t allow babies to travel with one way tickets). We received several comments and questions this morni...
