Foundations of Literacy – Spring 2011. Rasinksi: “Creating Fluent Readers”. April 17, 2011. I was unsure of what to expect going into this internship, but am now more excited than I have ever been about my future teaching career! I spent one hour and fifty minutes each day in the language arts class with my students. While I was there the students were finishing up a novel study. I found it particularly interesting that half of the class was reading. A Wrinkle in Time. A Wrinkle in Time. Read silently to...

Me in a Nut Shell. Posted by: RE 4030. On: April 17, 2011. To conclude my internship reflection, I would like to touch base on how real my pursuit of teaching career is now. Those eight days reminded me the different outlooks on teaching and the joy of reinforcing learning to children. The students appreciated us being there just as much as we appreciated them for helping out with our block assignments if not even more. That appreciation will take me a long way. 1 Response to "Internship Reflection".
