Thursday, September 3, 2009. We got out our Bucket Balance to use for our Missing Addends Math lesson today! We started with pennies, then moved to colored math counters, and. Moved on to CHOCOLATE CHIPS. And when there are chocolate chips involved, what Kindergartner. Can resist joining in? I guess it's good that addition and subtraction go hand-in-hand, especially when chocolate chips are involved. PS If you plan on trying this, make sure to wash out your buckets with scalding.
