Tuesday, December 3, 2013. Cinder. does this sound at all familiar? Yes Cinderella. This is a Cinderella story.but hold onto your hats. This story by Marissa Meyer is the most imaginative Cinderella story I have read! The first sequel of many is Scarlett, another very wonderfully creative retelling, followed by Cress next spring and then Winter, but not till 2015. However, this book has set up a whole new series and a new main character. Her, yes her,. Will, however, is needing Maddie as much as she is n...

R and R: The Crimson Crown

http://readandrecommend.blogspot.com/2012/11/the-crimson-crown.html

Saturday, November 17, 2012. I, and a few faithful followers, have been waiting for this conclusion to this exceptional series,The Seven Realms, for a very long time. And It. Was. Great. In the first book, The Demon King, written in 2009, you were drawn into a world where wizards using magical amulets pitted themselves against members of the mountain living Clan and lorded over the flatlanders living in the crowded city of Fellsmarch. Who are her enemies? What happened a thousand years ago? Her determina...

Wednesday, June 8, 2011. This book kept me up till the wee hours of the night reading. this book had me hooked, this book had me in tears. this book. This book "Okay for Now" by Gary Schmidt is the companion book to the "The Wednesday Wars", a title I thoroughly enjoyed. But this one is so much more. There is such strength, such resilience and even though the ending is so not what you think it might be it just adds to the emotion this book draws from its reader. Subscribe to: Posts (Atom).

I know I did and my love of princesses even followed me into my teens when I would devour books about young Princess Elizabeth before she became Queen of England. It ha...

http://readandrecommend.blogspot.com/2011_05_01_archive.html

Monday, May 30, 2011. 12 Dancing Princesses X 2. Is there something in the air? I have just read not one but two stories based on the same fairy tale, "The Twelve Dancing Princesses". But because the beauty of a fairy tale is that everyone can make it their own, Diane Zahler has also created a story around this same fairy tale called "The Thirteenth Princess". I think the girls will love both. Monday, May 23, 2011. Does this sound too confusing? I am off the buy the sequel, Sapphique, tomorrow. In it the...

The story shows and demonstrates that love is different from lust. It takes a lot of maturity to know the difference between the two. And one thing that is important in a relationship or union is communication. There should be a good and clear communication between the wife and husband. October 7, 2016. Maria sh...
