Harry the Dirty Dog | Reading For Kindergarten

http://www.readingforkindergarten.com/harry-the-dirty-dog

Harry the Dirty Dog. This excellent story about the dear white dog with black spots invoked sadness, then great joy in our little guy. He was very saddened by Harry running away from home because he didn’t want to take a bath. This brought about a very emphatic “Oh No! 8221; from him. He was still troubled as Harry returned home and his family didn’t recognize him. His emotions quickly turned to excitement as the dirt washed away and the family realized it was Harry. Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed | Reading For Kindergarten

http://www.readingforkindergarten.com/five-little-monkeys-jumping-on-the-bed

Five Little Monkeys Jumping on the Bed. Our son absolutely loved this short story. His favorite part was the monkeys jumping on the bed. He was very enthusiastic by the third monkey and shouted out as I read along “No more monkeys jumping on the bed! We read the kindle edition. This edition featured “pop up” text that provided bigger text once we double tapped on it. Our son liked swiping along for me to get to the next text section. Leave A Reply (No comments so far). Tacky the Penguin | Reading For Kindergarten

http://www.readingforkindergarten.com/tacky-the-penguin

Our son really enjoyed this book. His favorite part was Tacky singing “How many toes does a fish have? 8221; When I asked him was his favorite part was, he sang that out loud, and started making up his own lyrics to continue the song. It was very cute to see him dance around singing his made up lyrics. His second favorite part was tacky trying to dive, but instead making a big splash with a cannonball. I was introduced to his own splash sound effect as we read that page. Leave A Reply (No comments so far).
