Mr. Connor's Resource for Teaching Literature

Mr Connor's Resource for Teaching Literature. Wednesday, December 12, 2007. Reflection on ENGL 4800. I particularly enjoyed this class and getting a chance to explore literary theory. I had very little experience in working with literary theory and this class opened my eyes to how literary theory can get students interested in reading and understanding a text. The aspect of the class that I truly appreciated was listening to everyones. 4800 and bring it into my future classroom to help benefit my students.

Mr Connor's Resource for Teaching Literature. Friday, October 12, 2007. Webb, Literature and Lives Chapter 5. In Webb's chapter 5, I found it to be not in line with my beliefs on classroom instruction and how to look at a work. I can see where he is coming from, but his views on how Shakespeare. Are still present in todays society and are relavent to students today just as much as they were in his time. To understand Shakespear is to understand human nature, is how i feel about his work. Still and all, why bother? Here's my answer. Many people need desperately to receive this message: I feel and think much as you do, care about many of the things you care about, although most people do not care about them. You are not alone. Wednesday, December 12, 2007. This was, far and away, one of the most influential classes that I have been a part of here at Western. I feel as though the small class environment and the discussion based classroom really elevated the level of learning that we experienced. In all, the class was one of my favorites, and there are many things that I will take away from here and use in my future classrooms. Monday, December 10, 2007. The Giver Group Teach. Tuesday, November 27, 2007. I'm interested in your reservation about Marxist theory because it changed your opinion of the book. I'm not entirely sure it's a bad thing. Isn't it that one of the reasons we introduce theory into the classroom - to give students tools to look at their texts differently? November 29, 2007 at 6:36 AM. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). You gotta be the book: December 2007

http://fall07eglish480.blogspot.com/2007_12_01_archive.html

Friday, December 7, 2007. I really enjoyed this class this semester! Something i would recommend fixing for the next semester would be to make more requirements for the chapter teaches. I felt that they were very redundant and when we had more in one day, it was pretty boring and i sometimes found myself not paying as close of attention. I would try to add some more creative ways to teach or discuss the chapters so each person isn't doing the same thing every time. Wednesday, December 5, 2007.

He's back to finish what he started. In " The Dying Breath. And what about Justin, Cammie's unofficial boyfriend? Will they get together for good this time, or will Kyle get to Cameryn first? This book is an okay book. It starts off a bit slow at first, but then it picks up the pace quickly. I agree with DarkDreams. When they say, " I got this book and once I started I couldn't stop! Before reading this one, otherwise you will be very lost. Enjoy! Zoey and the gang are back. In. By PC and Kristin Cast.
