Reading Outside the Lines: John Doe on Her Doorstep

http://readingoutside.blogspot.com/2015/06/john-doe-on-her-doorstep.html

Reading Outside the Lines. Tuesday, June 23, 2015. John Doe on Her Doorstep. John Doe on Her Doorstep. Harlequin Intrigue, 2005. A year ago I read the second book in this series, Executive Bodyguard. What I liked about this book: The whole idea of the Enforcers is intriguing. Dani is a strong female character and I thought her relationship with Adam was believable and hot. The action was fairly fast-paced and exciting. HmmDebra Webb seems to be becoming my go-to author for romantic suspense.

http://readingoutside.blogspot.com/2015_02_01_archive.html

Yes, you are supposed to read them all in order. And yes, as usual, I didn't, because: reasons. I've done this many. And I'll do it again in my next review, too. Because a good book should stand alone, and I. Decide whether I'm intrigued enough to read the whole series, in order or not. Monday, February 16, 2015. Betsy Was a Junior and Betsy and Joe.

Reading Outside the Lines. Monday, July 21, 2014. Louisa May Alcott: An Intimate Anthology. Louisa May Alcott: An Intimate Anthology. New York Public Library Collection, 1997. Annapolis Valley, 2013. I bought this book in anticipation of a trip I would be making last year and began it while I was visiting Concord, which you can read about here. In addition to the lively glimpses of her life are some of Alcott's delightful stories. "Debby's Debut" is a classic love-triangle story, with the "right man"...

Reading Outside the Lines: Indigo

http://readingoutside.blogspot.com/2015/06/indigo.html

Reading Outside the Lines. Saturday, June 6, 2015. I wish - I really, really wish - that there were more romances featuring minorities. And I wish there were more historicals. And I wish they were as good as Indigo. But there aren't, so I will have to rejoice in how much I enjoyed Indigo. Galen is from a wealthy New Orleans family, members of a group known as the free people of color. Of course in true romantic fashion, he's a surly patient and she's a stubborn nurse. But they gradually come to respe...
