Read Sam, Read!

Sunday, March 18, 2012. Worrywart, or: This Story Has a Point, I Promise. When I was a child, I was terrified of sleep. It is a widely-accepted fact that most kids are afraid of the 'monsters' that lurk underneath their bed or inside of their closets. There are whole movies based around this premise, around the cliche of the diligent father who goes to pains to show his child that are, in fact, no monsters. So in those moments before sleep, all I could think about was how it could happen. I could hav...

Read Sam, Read!: The Lazy Life of a College Student on Winter Break

http://readsamread.blogspot.com/2011/12/lazy-life-of-college-student-on-winter.html

Monday, December 19, 2011. The Lazy Life of a College Student on Winter Break. Fall asleep watching Psych on Netflix. Wake up confused and disoriented and realize you fell asleep at ten last night and that's why you're waking up when it's still dark out, like some crazy person who is motivated or something. Try to convince yourself to get out of bed and exercise or something, but instead go on your computer and find out that Kim Jong-Il is dead and browse Reddit reading about it. Go home. Go on Tumblr.

Read Sam, Read!: July 2011

http://readsamread.blogspot.com/2011_07_01_archive.html

Friday, July 29, 2011. I have an idea! I've been vlogging a lot this past week, so you may have heard me mention in one of them that I've decided to write a fantasy novel. I've been busy plotting it out, getting all excited for it, since it definitely seems like it'll need more than one book to be complete. I've never even tried to write a series before! I find it ironic that the most oft-asked questions of authors is, "Where do you get your ideas? The question should be, "Where don't. Also, I got to 30,...

Read Sam, Read!: December 2011

http://readsamread.blogspot.com/2011_12_01_archive.html

Saturday, December 31, 2011. It's almost that time again, folks. This year has gone by so quickly, way quicker than last year did- probably because I had more fun! Anyway, I wanted to share some of my New Year's Resolutions! Not all of them have to do with writing or reading, but just things I want to get done this year. Finish editing TSTB and get an agent! Write a fantasy novel (and finish it). Don't eat any fried food. (This one is gonna be the toughest. It's a challenge! I think that's about it!

Sunday, May 15, 2011. WHAT COMES AFTER Author Interview! Sorry the radio silence, y'all. I got a job here at home and that's literally eaten up all of my time. That, and Veronica Mars on Netflix and baking cookies and generally not doing anything productive. Anyways, today I have a very awesome interview with the author of WHAT COMES AFTER, Steve Watkins! Not only is he awesome, but he also attended FSU, just like I do. When did you first start writing? Who's your favorite author? Posted by Samantha R.

Hello Judacan fans and would be fans,. I take pleasure in writing this series as much as I hope you enjoy reading it. JUDACAN ADVENTURES is based on my own experiences at Holy Child School and that of my mother, sisters, in laws, editor and friends who attended Wesley Girls, St. Roses , St. Louis, Mfantsiman, Aburi Girls and the myriad of boarding schools in Ghana. Was the first book in the series and it got so much positive reviews, I knew it could not end. Shadows of the Term. I am keen to hear from you.

Read Sam, Read! June 26, 2010 · 1:19 PM. Back… for now! I have been writing and reading for months now, but not blogging. That’s why I don’t write as much as I should and that’s why I never clean my room. It isn’t complicated, it is just that. Stopped running (which I am restarting!
