After successfully conducting the first ever Beach Program in January 2010 for international students, on the 13th of March Rootvij Kadakia Foundation in partnership with the Victoria University organized a beach program for their 200 international students. The Meet a Lifeguard program is an interactive session designed to educate students and community groups to make safe aquatic related decisions when enjoying inland, pool and coastal environments and delivered ‘in class’. August 23rd, 2009. Participants can come down to the beach for the day or half day and be actively involved in a number of physical activities, as well as learning about beach safety.
