Saturday, September 22, 2012. Time of the Season The Zombies. Love beads. Tie Dye. Peace signs. Flower power. Hippies. This year our homecoming was a 'Hippie Homecoming'. The kids decorated the school with tie dye, Smiley faces, peace signs, flowers, and colors of every kind. Friday the students dressed like hippies; so did I! My students think I am hippie because of the clothes I wear, the music I listen to, and the way my classroom is decorated. But my students didn't really know what a hippie was.
