Monday, June 1, 2009. A Monday with the Skaggs. Today, I came home from work and Tim asked me if I wanted to go fishing or hog hunting. Since I was in a fishing mood, we decided to yank innocent fish out of the water by their lips! Typically, I always out fish Tim, but tonight it was different. After doing a little "work" fishing, we came home and finished the evening with a great episode of WIPEOUT! Nothing like sitting around laughing at people hurt themselves! It has been a fun night!

We read the Scriptures and know that it is "God-breathed" and the very words of God, yet we also know that humans wrote it down. Therefore, in a sense, there is this double authorship of the Scriptures. John Stott. Explains it amazingly in his book "The Contemporary Christian:". I love what Stott. Says here....
