From Pensacola Beach, it's a nine mile drive down a 2 lane street with awesome white sand on both sides and the bluest, greenest water imaginable! The campground was well kept and quiet.except for the Blue Angels practicing every morning at 8:30.I loved it! Ed slept through it! And the water was amazingly warm!

Monday, December 13, 2010. Well, we've been in Harlingen for almost 5 weeks now and we're lovin' it! The weather stays between the mid-60s and the mid-80s and is usually in the 70s range. The winds can be pretty brutal.sometimes as much as 40 mph, but we were forewarned about that! As I speak, there's not even a slight breeze.so you never can tell! Most of the booths were shut down and the ones that were open consisted of yardsale-type junk. It took us about 30 minutes to walk the entire flea market!
