Ankle Rolls: 04/10/08
http://anklerolls.blogspot.com/2008_04_10_archive.html
Thursday, April 10, 2008. I guess the night passed; I remember more blood draws and eating at one point. Trying to watch crummy-reception TV. I'm sure someone talked to me about the status of tests. At some point they must have told me I was staying overnight, so then my hopes turned to release the next day. I'm looking for self-forgiveness in this, along with the multitude of other regrets that pile up and demand attention. I guess they knew the outcome, though, that bed rest notes wouldn't be needed...

Thursday, May 15, 2008. I really couldn't believe it, couldn't process what the doctor was saying. I'd been so convinced all along that I'd be stuck on bed rest that her words were incomprehensible. I asked why, and she was very kind, explaining that nothing they'd tried to halt my body's slide had worked. And she explained it repeatedly as I found multiple ways to ask the same question repeatedly. And all I could think was that the delivery would mean death for my child. The social worker returned, and ...

Ankle Rolls: 04/27/08
http://anklerolls.blogspot.com/2008_04_27_archive.html
Sunday, April 27, 2008. I am so frustrated by everything that I cannot remember! I asked my sister to help with details but of course she can't talk about what she wasn't there for. I am so frustrated that I can't tell you all the little bits I'm sure I vowed at the time to cement firmly in my mind. I feel like it's more of a loss, on a smaller scale, to have these minute details taken from me. What she meant was that she could see the baby practicing breaths. I guess this should be a happy thing, right?

This Life According to Amy. The thoughts, feelings and opinions of a 30-something mother, wife, sister, daughter, grand-daughter, niece, cousin, friend and hopefully, role-model. Sunday, September 6, 2009. My Summer Vacation . well not really. I have not blogged in a really long time. I guess I have been busy. It was summertime and I just couldn't find the time to sit at my computer and do anything other than play Bejeweled Blitz on Facebook. Talk about a time sucker. Since I have last blogged;. Thursday, April 24, 2008. Six months or so ago . I know, I know. We're slowly working up to the 24th, which was a Wednesday, and here it already is six months from that day of birth. What day are we on now? We've finished Monday night, and now it's time to review Tuesday. But I haven't posted in awhile because I'm scared of what awaits. After I tell you about the tests and tests (you might remember the tests from the other posts? I remember vividly thinking how beautiful a moment it was, this basic luxur...

Living the Life of a Suburban Jetsetter: My "I" post
http://birthed.blogspot.com/2011/12/my-i-post.html
Living the Life of a Suburban Jetsetter. Forever rockin' the suburbs with minivan style. Thursday, December 1, 2011. I met my goal (125) by the time we left for our trip. I gained 5lbs while on our all-inclusive (food and drinks- alcoholic and non-alcoholic) trip, but I am already down 2lbs (we've been home for 3 weeks). I signed up for boot camp *again*, and I was dry-heaving a few times during the 90-minute class this past Monday. Wednesday was better. I do not recommend 3 weeks without exercise.

Living the Life of a Suburban Jetsetter: unsweetened
http://birthed.blogspot.com/2011/09/unsweetened.html
Living the Life of a Suburban Jetsetter. Forever rockin' the suburbs with minivan style. Saturday, September 17, 2011. That was February 2004. I followed the South Beach Diet and did The Firm and Denise Austin workouts in my living room. In November 2004 (at the moment I boarded the plane to New Orleans for my wedding and honeymoon), I stopped dieting and exercising and proceeded to gain back every pound I lost in 2004 (and then some). The goal, at that time, was my 20th high school reunion (August 2009).

Living the Life of a Suburban Jetsetter: 2012
http://birthed.blogspot.com/2012/01/2012.html
Living the Life of a Suburban Jetsetter. Forever rockin' the suburbs with minivan style. Wednesday, January 4, 2012. What shall I do this year to make the most of my final year on this earth? I have until Dec 21st. Well, we started the year off nicely. Friends gathered, imbibed, danced, talked for hours and celebrated at midnight (and well past, for some) I hope a good time was had by all. We weren't even terribly hung over the next morning- It was a New Year's Miracle! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom).
