Most of the walk was spent under umbrellas and we almost skipped the sunset viewing completely. There’s a very commercialized/Disneyfied Chinese village at the end of the cable car. It had the requisite Starbucks and Subway. I’m sure there was a McDonald’s as well. Get our bags in Melbourne, catch our ride to the hotel, check in, get dinner. Ta-da! We’ve been flying on Qantas Airlines throughout Australia (and mom flew them over here).
