Saturday, May 21, 2011. Friday morning we worked along with Seeds of Hope. Our team helped the women (who normally make the filters by themselves) make about 15 filters. This is part of the building process: butter the frame (to avoid the filter from sticking to the frame), mix cement, pack the cement in the frame, insert the pipe (where the clean water will come out), and form and smooth the bottom of the filter. I love you baby! If not, give it a try. You never know what response you may get back!

Tuesday, May 17, 2011. Yesterday our team spent 8 hours traveling by bus to the town of Kasempa. It was amazing to see the villages. Along the way we picked up a sack of dried fish (kapenta), in order to give to the leper colony tomorrow. We all were able to rest in guest houses for the night. The kids were awesome, and they bring joy to my heart." - Scott. The church service was unbelieable with a drum and a guitar. Their voices were beautiful." - Molly. Wednesday, May 18, 2011. Thank you all for keeping us in your prayers! We are staying healthy and resting up for full days. We then traveled the LONG bus ride back to Ndola. Wednesday, February 17, 2010. The Journey has begun. Our April team has been picked and has begun preparing for their trip to Zambia. We had our first training last Thursday and the excitement amongst the team was awesome. Currently, we are working through the logistics of the trip like what to pack, how to pack, and those kinds of things.
