A brand new name and a fresh start. After watching an incredible WBC. And with the Majors just around the corner, I'm getting excited for Crackercats. Ahem, i mean . Capitals baseball. The new ownership led by Darryl Katz. Has finally knocked out deadbeat owner Dan Orlich. Pop Quiz: Can you guess what are Darryl's two favorite colours - rumour has it that the new Capitals unis will be none other than . yes . blue and orange . Here's to another good year of baseball in the Capital city! Links to this post.

The Unofficial Edmonton Capitals Blog: Happy Canada Day!
http://edmontoncapitals.blogspot.com/2008/07/happy-canada-day.html
Tonight, the Cats led 7-2 . Calgary came back to make it 7-6. Then the Cats made it 12-6 . Calgary came back to make it 12-11. But finally the Cats put it away in the bottom of the eight for a final of 14-11. Those pesky Vipers are a tough team with a plethora of good hitters, but our boys battled hard tonight and did a little slugging of their own. Marcus Nettles was player of the game and I must say that I thought John Pasieka had a really good night as well. July 2, 2008 at 1:37 AM. Edmonton Capitals ...
