Tahoe, as I noted below, is truly a wonderful place to visit. 72 miles around the lake. over 1700 ft deep, deep blue and quaint towns all the way around. The beauty is one thing, but the fun is another. Water sports galore, mountain biking, gondola rides, miniature golf, horseback riding and simply taking it easy. I am sorry not to have posted sooner, but I am trying to keep up with an ever changing job and more and more work. ARGH. So, happy place. moving to my happy place. Check out this harvest tonight. Three Dusky Eggplants, eight tomato's and one pomegranate. So, I skinned the eggplants, cut them length wise 1/4" thick, soaked them in olive oil and BBQ'd them. Added a touch of salt. I am so sorry, but of late my time has become filled with Dad duties, some added pressure on the Honey Do List and more work at work. which might be considered job security. It has been down for a few years as we have done remodel after remodel and ultimately not been able to use the backyard for for entertaining or simply hanging out. So, after realizing everytime my kids walk by the windows facing the backyard, they cried. I thought I'd better do something about it. Other than that it was a restful time placing bricks.
