Sunday, April 19, 2009. California Dreaming In The Sierra Buttes. We arrived back at the truck psyched and proud of our accomplishment. It was 1:00pm and 65 degrees at 5000ft. Since we had a little time to kill before we both had to be at work, we grabbed a quick beer at Bassetts. Saturday, February 28, 2009. Tram Face Competition Day #1. Day 1 of the Tram Face Competition took place yesterday afternoon. The venue for day 1 was held back in Silverado. 160;Spectators cheered on the best skiers and snowboarders in the world. The competition was tight and the riders made nice use of the features on China Wall. We are all praying for more snow in hopes of the Tram Face going down. Throwing a really cool spread eagle off the Drifter on China Wall! The judging panel hard at work!
