Was founded in 2012 for the purpose of helping native wildlife by researching and teaching best practices for how to reunite displaced young animals with their families in the wild. The project is a multi-year effort involving wildlife rehabilitators from all over North America. This makes it illegal to disturb a federally-protected bird while it is nesting, or to have in your possession any federally-protected bird, even if you are trying to help it.
