Drilling and Tapping Case Studies. Machine custom built to turn the central spigot of zinc die-cast rotary knobs to a diameter of 22mm. The customer, in the automotive sector, required a tolerance of /- 0.015mm. Machine custom built to precision ream two 8mm holes in the centre and one end of a zinc die-cast lever, and to tap an M4 thread in the other end.
