Indigo Roth: Thanking Clouds In Earnest
http://www.indigoroth.com/2015/07/thanking-clouds-in-earnest.html
Tuesday, July 07, 2015. Thanking Clouds In Earnest. I love the Summer, but I think we had ours last week. A frantic five days of insane temperatures and humidity (for the UK, that is), and now we're back to wind and rain. Tho obviously, as the season dictates, the rain is lovely and warm. Here's some pics. (Give 'em a click for a closer view, it's worth it.). And yes, new stories to follow soon, honest. Several months ago, I posted some nice shots of the red-leafed Virginia Creeper on Zoe's house. Be...

Indigo Roth: August 2014

Sunday, August 24, 2014. Resisting My Photographic Advances. One of the many delights of working at an animal sanctuary is the diversity of creatures to be found there. First, and closest to my heart, the dogs. This is Ozzie, a beagle cross who won the hearts of the locals when I took him offsite to meet them yesterday. Of course, once I told him I could do moody black-and-white, he was all smiles. I think he's channelling Christopher Walkern at this point. A final shot as I headed home; as the sun desce...

Indigo Roth: November 2013
http://www.indigoroth.com/2013_11_01_archive.html
Sunday, November 17, 2013. This I Have Achieved. Well, all good things come to an end. Since late November last year, I've been a man of leisure. I was fortunate enough to have the resources at my disposal so that I did not need to work for a whole year. I elected to make the most of this, and set out to write my first book. This I have achieved. Soon after that, as an e-book on various platforms. Maybe even an audio book. Hey, I like audio books. Unabridged, natch. I'm rather excited by the prospect.

Indigo Roth: February 2014

Sunday, February 16, 2014. Crash Bang Wallop What A Pizza. Did I say pizza? I've been away, but I have a note from my mum. I took a few photos today on a drive round neighbouring Bedfordshire to cover my indolence. There's still a lot of standing water in the fields, tho Bedfordshire received hardly any compared to some of the western counties. So many are flooded, with no sign of it easing. It seems to be Spring, even tho my friends in the States are still up to their noses in snow. Links to this post.

Don't Blame the Stars: February 2008
http://dontblamethestars.blogspot.com/2008_02_01_archive.html
Don't Blame the Stars. A piece of me. Wednesday, February 27, 2008. I wrote, quite some months ago. I remember reading (I think on Relate's website) that because most couples see therapy as a last resort, they can leave it almost too late, when everything becomes harder to fix. At the same time, I also wrote:. I think that my first statement above applies just as much to individual counselling, too. All the signs were there. I had a chilling reminder of this less than a year ago. If you, reading this, ar...

Don't Blame the Stars: January 2008
http://dontblamethestars.blogspot.com/2008_01_01_archive.html
Don't Blame the Stars. A piece of me. Tuesday, January 29, 2008. Nope, I'm still not dead ;) I've been musing the last post. It's one of those things where I've been thinking I'd like to say something to explain what happened since then ( Summary: :). But I haven't really worked out what. Anyway, it's not likely to be within the next few days - early tomorrow (Wednesday) morning I'm off up to Doncaster with my boss to demo our progress with an application we started writing this month to a new client.

Indigo Roth: The Results are Generally Positive
http://www.indigoroth.com/2015/03/the-results-are-generally-positive.html
Monday, March 23, 2015. The Results are Generally Positive. This entry is dedicated to my friend Lisa Chapman, who has pleasantly "encouraged" me (and ultimately bribed me) to write something new. It's been a while. Thanks Lisa! One of the prime delights of a warm Spring day is a sit in the garden. You know how it is: a new season, fresh air, sunshine, birdsong, and the chance to think problems through without the four walls peering over your shoulder. All things are possible. And so it is today. Says my...

Indigo Roth: Only Possible Under Sunshine
http://www.indigoroth.com/2015/04/only-possible-under-sunshine.html
Monday, April 27, 2015. Only Possible Under Sunshine. I'm in the middle of writing several new pieces that aren't quite ready to publish. Yes, not one, not two, but three. So, for now, I hope you'll enjoy joining me for a quick run-through of a weekend in Scotland. Beyond that, please be careful what you wish for. These are what the boffins in Edinburgh call clouds. But what is a Kelpie, Roth? I hear you ask. They're part of Scottish folklore, water spirits that take the form of horses. Tradition...Close...

Just Curious...: Steps
http://curiouslyspeaking.blogspot.com/2010/05/steps.html
In a crowded mind something was bound to fall out! Sunday, 23 May 2010. So this week has been a busy one. I have been scurrying around trying to arrange everything I need for September. I am surprised by how much I'm getting done. I am usually from the school of procrastination (why do anything today when it can be put off until tomorrow! But without prompting or prodding I have pushed on through the 'to do' list. All in all a very productive week and a positive step. 24 May 2010 at 17:36.
