The night they arrived we ate fajitas for dinner and then ventured out to see some fireworks, which were not so great, but the kids enjoyed playing night games instead. Thursday, April 15, 2010. 3 Days of Birthday Fun! How did this guy. Turn into this guy. I sure don't know, but here is how we celebrated. We started the day off at his one year check up. Both Darin and I were certain that although he has been in the 8th percentile for weight since he was born, he was definitely going to topple the charts, and come in somewhere around 70th or 80th percentile at his one year. Saturday, November 28, 2009. I wasn't sure what to name this post, since It wasn't quite Thanksgiving. Poor Darin didn't eat any Thanksgiving either.just stayed home with Kai and I. It was the sickest I ever remember being in my whole life, I kept telling Darin that I would miss him and Kai, but I really wanted to die. :). This is a picture of the dinner Darin made around 9pm on Thanksgiving. We found a package of "instant potatoes" and a gravy mix that he whipped up like a world class Sous Chef.

Thursday, June 25, 2015. Reunited with my BFF. We laughed and cried and enjoyed each other's company. Steve and Celeste stayed at our house for the next few nights. They spoiled my kids with toys. Cohen and Nixon got new nerf guns, Aliza got a Lego friend set, and kinlee got a hair dresser set-all of them were a big hit! We got to eat dinner with them and had a late night dessert gathering with the rhodenizers and Jensen's. Loved being together and catching up-just missed their darn cute kids!

She went to her old pre-school room and read a book all by herself to Mrs. Rice's new class. She read "Alice the Fairy" and she read every single word by herself. So proud of her!
