Virtual Environment: creat a bed
http://djmve.blogspot.com/2008/11/creat-bed.html
Monday, 24 November 2008. Added bed in bedroom. I created a box then duplicated another box for the mattress. The third box is for a pillow, I then applied the edit ploy –Ploygon. I created the “pillow box” to make it look like someone slept on it. The last box was created for cover. This is a bit difficult because I tried to make it look realistic but hadn’t succeeded yet. I left it for the moment as I did not want to make it worst! Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). View my complete profile.

Friday, 31 October 2008. WEEK 6- GETTTING THERE! The process took a long time to finish, but i am pleased with the bits of my face that I have done. Thursday, 30 October 2008. WEEK 6 carry on-UVW MAP. Wednesday, 29 October 2008. I created the sphere, looked on the internet and clicked on the images to see if it match the colour of my eyes. Unfortunately they do not match so saved the image. The front looked good but when circulate it, I realised the eyes are too far back. Ohhh, I will sort it later.

Virtual Environments: Testing Movement
http://virtualenvironmentslisa.blogspot.com/2008/12/testing-movement.html
Saturday, 6 December 2008. This is one of the silhouettes created and has been put into the final scene, however I thought I would take this video to show it's movement as it is not that clear/visible in the final product. The silhouette is 'controlling' the toy train, and watching it move at the same time. If you look closely, you will be able to see the arms and head move. Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Virtual Environments: Evaluation
http://virtualenvironmentslisa.blogspot.com/2008/12/evaluation.html
Thursday, 11 December 2008. So, we have now finally finished the project and have put everything together using Premier Pro. This project has been quite interesting and fun to do, although stressful at the same time! I enjoyed making the toy train move along with the light shining, I felt this was quite enjoyable to watch so should be no problem to entertain children with this advert! As well as using the Biped (again this could be improved on had I figured out how to fix the envelopes problem). Subscrib...

Virtual Environments: Premier Pro
http://virtualenvironmentslisa.blogspot.com/2008/12/premier-pro.html
Thursday, 11 December 2008. After all the members of the group had completed their scenes, it was time for all the scenes to be joined up together with music included. Luke, Rich and myself managed to edit the videos in Premier Pro. Techniques used were cutting parts of videos and fading music to match the scenes appropriately (animation movements in time with the music beats etc). Subscribe to: Post Comments (Atom). Virtual Environment: December 2008
http://djmve.blogspot.com/2008_12_01_archive.html
Wednesday, 3 December 2008. I have changed the Biped footprinter and camera a few times because the walking pattern was not right nor was the camera. I finally got it right and am pleased with it. It was difficult to work with especially when turning but overall I am happy with my project. Tuesday, 2 December 2008. The character and biped are martin's. I just added the material and face. Virtual Environments: Final Group Video
http://virtualenvironmentslisa.blogspot.com/2008/12/final-group-video.html
Thursday, 11 December 2008. The final group video is shown above. Some changes have been made to each of the scenes:. As we all created our silhouette's differently, some of us were unable to put a question mark material onto the body, so we came to the conclusion that it was best to take the question marks off of Rich's scenes so that it would flow with the rest of the scenes and be consistent throughout instead. Rich also changed the speed of his camera so that it went slightly faster.

Virtual Environments 2008: Tutorial 8 - Ear Creation
http://virtualenvironments2008.blogspot.com/2008/10/tutorial-8-ear-creation.html
Wednesday, 22 October 2008. Tutorial 8 - Ear Creation. A very difficult piece of geometry and very complex. Use a similar method that we did for the face for the ear. Load reference image, and define some key areas. From this point we want to start drawing in the topology, same idea as before, connecting the lines, and making new ones. Create the necessary quads. Don’t worry about making this too complex. Take this into 3D Max and start sculpting the ear. Look at the reference image, edge mode, select th...

This tutorial describes how you can use Symmetry, so that you can make changes to one side of the model, and it affects both sides; also how to subdivide your mesh in order to smooth it off. There are several ways to mirror your model. Copy – a unique object. Instance – provides information between the clone and the original. Select the object right click clone reference.
