http://lewisinpng.blogspot.com/2009_07_01_archive.html
Lewis Family in PNG. Wednesday, July 29, 2009. Thailand Trip Part 3 Koh Samui. After flying out from Chiang Mai in the morning we arrived at the very 'flash tropical' Airport in Koh Samui, ready for a very restful three days. It was pouring rain! About the same as the average wet season downpour in Lae! The taxi drove off and we were stuck at a resort which had no real need to transport us to a competitor! Not the best start to this section of our holiday! It rained basically for another day and a half t...

This world is not my home...: Squidgy in the "CHIM"
http://rshayton.blogspot.com/2015/02/squidgy-in-chim.html
This world is not my home. Monday, February 16, 2015. Squidgy in the "CHIM". I’ll never forget the day Squidgy and Titch became Hayton dogs. Their previous owner, Rob, dropped them off and no sooner had he left dust trails out the gate, than Nala our 2 yr old lab/bouvier started screeching “intruder alert” as she perched possessively on the front step of our home. What kind of ditch was this? Curious and assured that Squidgy was alive the boys and I joined in the rescue mission. Loved and loving companion.

This world is not my home...: The STRIKE
http://rshayton.blogspot.com/2014/10/the-strike.html
This world is not my home. Sunday, October 12, 2014. Please note that this is written for our friends and family. In choosing to share one of life's most painful experiences, I would appreciate your gracious, non-judgmental responses.)* * It's not a mission story most want to hear, but it's ours and it happened.* *. Hudson saw me reach for my apron and ran excitedly into the kitchen. “Mommy, I want to help, what are you making for supper? Did he have a complicated surgery today? Did a patient just die?
