My little home on the internet. Sometimes it’s a good idea to look back on what you’ve done. That’s the idea behind this post. I’ve included the first song I’ve ever produced by myself, the wonderfully titled Cowtippin. I made it on my Nintendo DS, using Korg DS-10. The result you can listen to here: Cowtippin. My little home on the internet. Alcohol abuse is buying two crates of Grolsch beugel beer, with the idea of probably dumping at least one full crate down the drain, because you need the bottles to bottle your own beer in. My little home on the internet. Incomprehensible. Even after having seen you, a part of me still expects you to drive in on squeeky tires and crack one of your signature jokes. But you’ve shuffled off this mortal coil and gone on to greener pastures. I bet if you had any choice in the matter, you’d be running around kicking things, snorting cocaine off the backs of hookers and shouting “Niggerfags” at just about anyone. But you know what I’d like better than you in a better place right now?

My little home on the internet. Here’s a little something I wrote for the writing group I’m a part of. We were supposed to do a descriptive piece. I chose my favorite Mexican restaurant in Amsterdam: La Margarita. Enjoy. Also, the obligatory cacti. You go in, through a swinging door, a bit like saloon doors, and you’re enveloped by atmosphere. Not really sure what atmosphere, but whatever it is, there’s a lot of it. There’s mozaic on the back wall, and a statue of Mary, with Holy Son. Catholici...Also, a...

| A young monk gazes at villagers and water buffalo from the Mandalay-Bagan ferry
A young monk gazes at villagers and water buffalo from the Mandalay-Bagan ferry. Introduction: Burmese Daze…. (with apologies to George Orwell). March 2, 2014. Providing the reader with the ability to click to posts in chronological narrative order if desired. ( Technical note: All photographs can be clicked to enlarge. The photograph captures the way modernity and antiquity coexist side-by-side in Myanmar. On many occasions I saw farmers plowing rice fields with water buffalo while 100 feet away som...

My little home on the internet. Eyes: A Short Story. A while ago I edited one of my short stories for publication via Amazon Kindle. I did this as an experiment: I wanted to see if total strangers would be willing to buy one of my stories. Not only did I get a sale: I also got a positive review! This is a huge motivation for me to actually try to make something of my writing: I no longer have to worry about writing for ‘the void’. You can find the story here. Ta for now,. Welcome to my Blog! I have been a leader most of my life. I have led sports teams, a church, a graduate school, a non profit, and a family. Good leadership did not always come naturally or easily for me. I had to work hard at it! Reflecting on a Heart Attack. A police command center was established at my parent’s home. A helicopter searched overhead. Credits cards were tracked. Hundreds of people from First Baptist Church Jonesboro volunteered to drive throughout Atlanta searching for him....Ultimatel...
