Monday, 25 August 2008. Today, I read a blog by Harrison Gilmore ( Regular Christian Guy. On Ambition, where he posed the question “Should Christians be ambitious on the career ladder? 8221; and more widely, asked readers about what Christian ambitions they had. This got me thinking about my life in Christ and my worldly job and career. The conclusion I came to was a resounding Yes, Christians should be ambitious and I think God expects this of us. There is of course the much misquoted 1 Timothy 6:10.

This ought not to be too surprising though as it has evolved over the years and is now quite different to what I was cooking and passing on in the 1980s. Well fundamentally I am now using Jalapeño peppers instead of Chilli powder and have added a teaspoon of ground Cumin.
