September 6, 2014. Today started off misty on the coast so we went a bit inland to the Pacific Rim National Park and had a walk around one of the rainforest trails. Very lush and an easy morning wander before heading into Tofino for lunch. Tofino is a lovely place, beautiful coastal views and very laid back. To Tofino →. September 3, 2014. We set off today for Campbell River but had an early stop in Port Hardy to try to catch some photos of the bald eagles. Got some but really need a far bigger lens for this type of photography, they were just too far away to get a decent shot. Our stop at Campbell River today was at the museum which was really interesting, lots of First Nation stuff and a lot of exhibits around the pioneers and the logging camps and logging industry.
