Just Be Frugal: November 2011
http://justbefrugal.blogspot.com/2011_11_01_archive.html
Read my blog in your native language! Be uplifted and encouraged by my book of poetry and devotions. A portion of all proceeds are donated to women's ministries. Contact me directly for a signed copy with discounted postage. I consider frugality an art form and a religious conviction. I learned about paying cash for purchases, recycling and reusing just about everything and being generous to friends and those in need from my parents. Saturday, November 26, 2011. More non-traditional holiday savings.

We were blessed with a rainbow over our house after than rainy day. The chickens hanging out by the compost pile waiting on something yummy. Megan helped me make a broccoli chicken pie. http://aseknc.blogspot.com/2015/03/french-stripe-dishcloth.html
Tuesday, March 10, 2015. Last Wednesday we got MORE ice and snow but, thankfully, not as much as the previous two ice storms. It was enough to keep UPS and the mail from running out here, but no more damage to our home, or the area, and the power never went out.YaY! And now we are finally getting a relief from the winter weather! I finished another dishcloth and was finally able to get it soaked in vinegar water to set the red and got a pic of it to share. Found on Ravelry here. Right now I am working on...

Friday, July 4, 2014. Knitting for Babies (with free pattern links). I just love knitting for babies! Baby projects are great take-alongs, offer quick gratification for my short attention span and the finished products are so darn cute! Not to mention they give me another way to give back to my community and the young men, women and children that I serve at the pregnancy center. Here are my most recent finished projects, along with my notes about the patterns used. Or you can access it directly here.

Tea Party Everyday: The Sweetest Couple I Know
http://teapartyeveryday.blogspot.com/2011/11/sweetest-couple-i-know.html
Wednesday, November 2, 2011. The Sweetest Couple I Know. Today, November 2, 2011, is my parents 72nd wedding anniversary. Tomi and Bill Hudson were married in Alvord, Texas, on November 2, 1939. My dad was a new coach in the high school there, and my mom was a young lady, graduated from high school, and working in the town. They met and fell in love quickly. I think you will enjoy it as the story is so special. I certainly hope I have inherited some of these great genes! A TRUE STORY THAT NEEDS TO BE TOLD.
