Saturday, October 20, 2012. Connor got his first experience with paint last night. He wore one of daddy's old T-shirts for a paint shirt and had a blast. He created 4 masterpieces before it was haircut and bath time. This morning he asked to paint again. Before we knew it he had painted his face and hair. We had another bath this morning! Saturday, October 20, 2012. Daniel's mommy played in a wind symphony concert this evening so we got to have Daniel over to play! The boys have had so much fun. They played with cars all night and chased each other around the house. They get along great and are so fun to watch. Our favorite activty is playing with Lightning McQueen and all of the cars! On your mark, get set, go! Washing our hands before supper. Brushing teeth before bed! We read stories in bed together! Ready for sleepy time!

Wednesday, October 10, 2012. Last Saturday Connor and Mommy had a fun day at home while daddy was at tennis districts. We stayed in our jammies most of the day. We played, face timed with Papa, and learned how to use scissors while we played with play doh. We had a picnic on our Bob the Builder blanket and ate elephant sandwiches (pb&j cut in the shape of elephants). I cherish days like these when we get to spend so much quality time together. Reading a book to Papa. Playing the drum for Papa.

While it's chilly in the Midwest we headed for a warmer destination. My Mom has wanted to travel to a city with me for awhile and it happened to be my Dad and Mom's 35th wedding anniversary. It turns out that we found cheap tickets and didn't hesitate for a second to book the trip. Zack and I just got to tag along. What a quick fun trip!
