Friday, July 27, 2012. Splash pad and park. We visited a new (to us) splash pad and park that's close to our house this morning. Owen wasn't so sure about the splash pad, but he liked watching the other kids. He had a lot of fun playing at the park. He's getting to the age now where I feel like I need to have some kind of activity planned on days that I'm home with him and this was perfect. I don't know about this, Mom. At his doctor's appointment, she asked him what he likes to eat and he said, "Butterflies". Last night he was looking at a toys r us ad with Marcus and said "wow" about every page and then said "I happy". Friday, October 5, 2012. I love trying new foods. I'm always pinning new recipes and have finally gotten around to trying a few. Here are some we really enjoyed:. Super Simple Shrimp Tacos. These really were easy and good- a fun weekend dinner. I loved the cabbage and cilantro in them. Slow Cooker Coconut Ginger Chicken. I had the next two recipes at a baby shower. I had already pinned the dip and went right home and pinned the popcorn. This dip is amazing! Cookies and Cream Popcorn. Fall, fall, fall.

Thursday, June 28, 2012. 20 months and a fun weekend. Last weekend, Marcus's parents visited. We had a nice trip to the zoo and did a little shopping.
