Eric, Liesel and Dom, Will, Molly, and John. A week has already passed since we celebrated Dom's birthday. But, I can use this time to brag about how great Dom performed in his game this morning. The other team had a player who has played in the Bundesliga youth program for the last few years. And it showed! Dom made out like a bandit on gifts this year. The timely gift of a Royals baseball cap (thanks to his Godparents) has quickly become a staple in his wardrobe. To be totally honest, I didn't know if ...

Eric, Liesel and Dom, Will, Molly, and John. Eric had the great idea to have the three kids start from the three doors of our house. Will was the big winner, but I loved watching Molly run all over often missing obvious eggs in her rush to get to the next spot. Notice her totally awesome Lightening McQueen boots? Really brings the ensemble together, don't you think? The kids really did a great job of finding all of the eggs. There were only a couple that we had to say: 'It's right there! In front of you!

Eric, Liesel and Dom, Will, Molly, and John. New Computer, New Pictures, New Post. The day after Christmas, events transpired and we came to the realization that we'd be getting a new computer for the New Year. I am still getting use to it. As is the way of things, Dom is much more capable with the new technology than I am.However, I finally worked up my courage the other day to upload our pictures. And I seem to have been successful. Dom received 'The Action Bible' from his Godparents (a.k.a Kat...John ...

Eric, Liesel and Dom, Will, Molly, and John. The boys are always trying to tell jokes. We have a few joke books and they will pull those out on occasion and read them to us. Or they make up the worst jokes. But, honestly, I laugh at those the hardest because of their signature style in the telling. Dom's follow such a pattern:. First word that comes to his mind): Basketball. Do you want to come out and play basketball with me? Why was 6 afraid of 7? Because 7 ate 9.get it? Why was 11 afraid of 12? Play Y...

Eric, Liesel and Dom, Will, Molly, and John. Good excuse to not clean the kitchen. Molly grabbed the camera and took close to 100 shots. The above is one of the less blurry shots. Actually John was pretty patient overall with his personal paparrazza (is that the singular form of paparrazzi? Though, this next picture spoke to me. Probably because it is the end of a gray, rainy week and the sun finally came out today:. Imagine how Molly got that shot. Now are you impressed? Can you see their smiling faces?

Eric, Liesel and Dom, Will, Molly, and John. It's Friday, John slept through the night (more or less), I had a croissant for breakfast (with Nutella).time to blog! The catalyst for this trip was our niece (and first God-Child) Rose's First Communion. Last September, when we confirmed we would be coming, my sister, Katie, suggested we register for a half-marathon. Why not? Just a random story, Katie told me that before church one day, Peter came down in a polo and khakis. She told him he looked quite ...

Eric, Liesel and Dom, Will, Molly, and John. While I continue to not clean the kitchen. Last night we made the big leap of sending Molly to a big chair to make room for John in the booster seat. I purchased this chair for Dom 7 and a half years ago and it has held up very well. The kids were all so excited to have John sit at the dinner table with us. While I don't clean the kitchen. Here are a couple of angles of the mess it can become. End of Summer Musings. The Tour de France ended a few weeks ago, bu...

Eric, Liesel and Dom, Will, Molly, and John. Twas the Week Before Christmas. Twas the week before Christmas and all through the house presents were being wrapped, carols were being sung, cookies were being baked (and eaten), and everyone was getting more and more excited for the big day. Here are just some pictures that we've taken in the last week or so:. Dom: Oh Good, you are out! Me: How's everything going? Speaking of cleaning up.Molly was on clean up duty for the recent chocolate chip cook baking.
